The Christmas Truce

“The Christmas Truce” is a project by ANMIG, which in 2022 produced the Italian edition of Tony Galmes’ graphic novel.

In addition to producing the book, published by Donzelli Editore, ANMIG commissioned me to transform the illustrations into an animated film. I am very pleased with the result: thanks to Tony’s text and artwork, supported by the original soundtrack composed by Baffo Banfi and his daughter Gaia, the film is truly moving and emotionally powerful.

Three years later, after being available exclusively to schools upon request, the film is now finally accessible to everyone through a dedicated mini-site that I designed and laid out on commission for ANMIG itself. The site is aimed at schools and hosts the film, offering further insight into the story it tells as well as a broader exploration of the theme of peace.
